I have now found a way of climbing into the music arena using the Russell Simmons / Def Jam model of simply allowing independent artists to perform at the live venues that I set up. Russell had Def Jam Comedy and Def Jam Poetry. I now have True Soul & Hip Hop and The Flow, which both utilize poetry / hip hop and soul artist performances in front of live audiences. The difference is that True Soul & Hip Hop will eventually feature established artists, while The Flow introduces the new stars who WE would like to introduce to the world.
